The first time I went for a swallow test, the attention was magnificent and fast. The coordinator who registers each person was in the waiting room and everything went very well. The second time I went, it was this week. The coordinator or patient registration lady was not there. She arrived After half an hour, I noticed that patients service wasn’t so good as the first time, then I had to wait a long time. For my appointment it was a mammogram but the mammogram and ultrasound techniques were incredible, super professional and friendly. I would return to the hospital because of the friendly service of the technicians.

My experience in this hospital was excellent. I went there as an outpatient to have surgery and all the staff was very professional, helpful and also very kind, especially Nancy the nurse who preped me; Stephanie, the doctor's assistant, the staff in the recovery room and the sweet lady who took me to the car. The facilities were clean and neat and I was given everything I needed to feel comfortable. Also, I really appreciate that they called me a few days later to check up on me and see if I had any concerning symptoms as a result of the procedure. I definitely recommend this hospital and its staff!

The care my husband received from the time he was in the emergency till he was admitted into a room was exceptional. All staff were friendly, caring, compassionate and always willing to answer any questions you had to the whole care team.

My stay at HCA Westside Hospital started Sat Nov 22, in the ER & ended Wed DEC 4. It was long, painful & tedious. But made tolerable by the nursing staff & especially pleasant by dietary staff member Sasha. She went above and beyond to make my stay more than tolerable.....and made it a pleasure. It was a joy to see her always smiling face. She never forgot to add a serving of chicken noodle soup to my lunch & dinner order even if I did, it's the little touches that meant a lot to me & my family.

The people here are so genuine but I really enjoyed my night time ER doctor, my pm nurses T___a (I wish I remembered her name) and Makayla* who took over for the am. The person who really left a last impression was my transporter who brought me upstairs Courtney! She was the most sincere, empathetic, caring person all day even after seeing her work over 12 hours because I saw her all night and part of the day. You can tell she really cares and she’s not just doing a job. Before she left, she even came to check on my progression and wished me a good day. Never got that type of bedside manners by anyone in any hospital before. HCA better treat her good because they deserve her period. Hopefully she sees this and knows she’s appreciated and to never let her light dim.

I have never felt more at ease and taken care of at a hospital than at this location. Every nurse shift was great. But I want to give a huge thank you in particular to my nurses Natalia, Venise, Lucky, Dina, and Ashley (I believe she was in training, but will one day soon be an awesome nurse!) They went out of their way to ensure my safety and comfort. The process from triage to testing to admission was surprisingly swift. Hospital stays are usually daunting. Not here. Kudos to the team at Westside. I now have a preferred hospital.
