Where to start I was assaulted by my roommates neighbors showed the police where he was and he was never obtained even after I pressed charges and my roommates spouse was stabbed that night. Come Jan 1st I called them over 10 times for help because my roommate kept threatening me and her cousin said she was on her way with a gun. After she showed up with the police there I informed them how upset I was that the cousin with the gun wasn't detained etc even after proof I live there the police department belittled me for living with a friend who's apartment is being paid for by the government. I was told I have no rights to defend myself in the place I live because the owners have prioritized rights. After showing how upset I was I was then arrested because I was being threatened with a gun by my roommates cousin who didn't live there. After being arrested I was ridiculed by judge Cooper who has a past of ruling against peoples rights. Even after explaining I don't know or understand the court process because of a head injury judge Cooper wrote negative comments in my court comments and the next judge said I have zero rights to disagree with the courts after I was specifically told I could not obtain a lawyer and that this charge was minor. I'm currently fighting the courts over calling 911 for help. The man that assaulted me before this incident still lives in the complex and has gone free from charges after an assault.but me with a clean record is being violently prosecuted over calling 911. Your tax dollars at work. Oh and what nu,ber are we on for police chiefs 7 in 5 years? Clearly there's a problem here. Not to mention the fact my roommate isn't supposed to have her kids for a reason and they said if their not being harmed their ok yet dog poop is everywhere they have no beds to sleep in but right defending yourself from someone who isn't even allowed to have her kids is a criminal affence. My Summons is #J318551 everyone is gonna know terrible and misguided this police department is and I'm gonna make sure of it.

I had the occasion to call APD mobile response team for mental health related wellness check. I was hesitant at first... had to think about it deeply due to the fact some of these encounters do not go well. Thankfully, Aurora has a specialized unit for those issues. The situation was handled very well, and they communicated the outcome by text and telephone. I hope APD as a whole can shed the negative views. We need police that serve the community and not an adversary.

Greyhound bus got sideswiped by a truck. The stupid driver followed the guy who hit him and presumed to go fight the man. I have a ten year old with me mind you. Called these aurora police 3 times in one hour and they claimed it was priority and they had police rushing. In that hour, the crazy people on the greyhound got out of the bus, beat up the guy who beat up our driver, looted his truck and presumed to take a video of him fleeing the scene as they all laughed while my son was crying watching the madness. I will never trust these police, corrupt city full of idiots

Good to see APD supports street racing on S. Buckley Rd between E. Iliff Ave and Hampden. Motorcycles and cars run high speeds at will day or night, no enforcement for years. At least no fatalities...yet.

I just got my car towed a quarter mile from my house for an expired registration, I have insurance, my wife is a police officer, I am a veteran. I have had money struggles, I should have had my tags. I know. Yes but these guys decided to take my car from me and add $1000 in bills to my ongoing issues. Straight up. The way they treated me was abuse. They could have just given me a ticket and i would have gotten tags. they treated me and my denver pd wife like trash on top of it all. they didn't want to talk about the open air drug market or how an aurora cop i know got a DUI AND IS STILL ON THR FORCE. Glad my wife is Denver PD . Yall are an embarrassment to police officers. God is watching what you do.

Y’all need to find a way to hire and train more officers. Idk if it’s bc no one is looking currently in the Field for a job or what but I waited 4 hours about my neighbors being loud and making threats towards me and my family and it’s been four hours now and I just decided to call and be like hey I’m tired of being on a waitlist. I’m just gonna call in the morning and hopefully that’ll be better but this is kind of bull that y’all don’t have enough officers to respond to more things at least.

Evil. Evil cops. I can’t even begin to tell you how violated and abused I felt when I got pulled over for my expired tags. I don’t even know why I complain anymore… nothing will change. They will get away with abusing their own citizens. What a bad world we live in. So discouraging. God saw what you did. I can only hope they pay in the end…
