late response from 2019, but I see they still suck

This morning I decided to drive to a nearby Advanced Auto Parts location, before I went online to your website & to get a deal on a few items a needed. I found a 25% off discount offer going on & wanted to order the items I selected. The online site said one of my items were out of stock, but I was inside the store actually holding the item. So I took the item (a 2-ton hydraulic jack kit that came with two jack stands), along with my other item to the counter. I explained to the cashier (a young lady), that I wasn’t able to order the item online because it says it’s out of stock. I went on to show her the Exact same online item & asked her can I purchase the item & get the online pricing, since i wasn’t able to order it. She stated that she can’t match their online pricing. I asked why not, & is it because you’re not a manager? She stated she was the manager & that she can’t match their OWN online pricing!! I then stated, “so i’m going to have to go online & pick a further location, when you have EXACTLY what I need right here at this location?” She replied yes!! I said this is absolutely crazy & walked out!!!! I didn’t get her name, but I do have the location, date, & time of my visit. It was earlier today 2/24/2019 between 10am - 10:30am, at your 7118 S. Stony Island ave, Chicago, IL, store # 7536 location. So who ever the female store manager that was on duty that day, needs more training on customer service & price matching policies. Please explain how a large auto parts chain can “price match” competitors pricing, but not even their OWN? I am very disappointed that I wasn’t able to take advantage of the ONLINE EMAIL OFFER that I received from you guys.

Shay, what can I say! Far and beyond award winning customer service. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with eagerness to help. I thought I was going to get a great deal online. Shay assisted me with the product number to enter. She made the suggestion that she could look up to see if I can get a better price in store, which I did. Today I went into this establishment and the customer service received was at an all-time low. My heart is saddened as too often we go into a business supporting African Americans and the reps feel it's okay to disrespect the customers. Moreover, the female I spoke with today was very disrespectful and unwelcoming. I pray as humans we can learn to love ourselves so we can show love and respect to others we encounter. Praying for our nation.

The store manager here is so GHETTO!!!! I use to proud work for Advance, so I prefer Advance over Auto Zone. Her customer service is horrible. I want to exchange my brake pads for my LIFETIME WARRANTY. She integrates the customers like they are thieves. I dont mind you checking for the store products. Most stores allow you to bring the item back especially if you are a regular customer. Before she even checked she asked how these the store brakes if your car outside. Just rude. I have an issue with her everytime. If a customer doesn't want your help you its not up to you to continue to watch them and follow them around. She's wasn't in uniform she was wearing rollers and loud colored sweater just looked very unprofessional. I went to the other store and was treated like kind. They were very professional. I will not be returing to this store. She even was about to hand me over brakes without a box when I gave her my old ones in a box. She trashed the new box. Just terrible. I left out the other store with the new breaks in the new box with a bag. DONT NOT SHOP HERE IF GHETTO MANAGER IS ON DUTY.
