Gentleman at front desk was nice and accommodating. You can tell they have done some recent renovations, but the overall feel of the hotel is still dated. I would stay here again, but I would definitely look at other options in the area. This hotel does have a nice price point though. I was just looking for a place to crash for one night and then headed out early the next morning.

Out of our group we had 3 rooms. In all 3 the toilets clogged right away and in one the toilet completely overflowed all over the floor. The front desk told us that their maintenance guy was gone so we had to clean it up ourselves. When we came down he was just lounging at the front desk on his phone. There were also giant stains on the bedsheets and the floor. The bathtub wouldn’t drain. One of the rooms had bugs all over it. The pool was absolutely freezing. I will not be staying at a Holiday Inn again.

The mattresses were inflexible, and the air conditioning system was insufficient. The breakfast served was of subpar quality. Furthermore, the hot water used for hot chocolate contained black particles.

Stayed here for a Nike soccer ID camp in Mesa. 1 night stay. Wanted to commend Antonio for the check-in/check-out process. He was exceptional and made my daughters feel extra special by giving them a welcome gift which was essentially a bag of snacks with a cookie and water for each of them. The room itself had high ceilings and great AC. The bed was comfortable, the tv worked, the shower worked. The hotel itself isn't much to look at but everything was in working order and that's all we needed. Bonus points again to Antonio at check-out. We asked for a late check-out. I explained that my daughters soccer camp got out right at check-out and asked if I could double back to the hotel to let her shower so that she didn't have to spend her entire day and flight back home in sweaty clothes and dried sweat. He said that they were not busy that day and it would not be a problem. We'll stay here again the next time we come to this ID camp.

The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean. I felt safe from the second I stepped into the hotel. But the thing that really made this a 5 star experience was the customer service. The staff here are so friend and accommodating. They go above and beyond to make sure you get the best experience possible.

Light iwas not enough for make up ,literally had to switch on my cell phone light.
Also the wooden board where they hang the hair dryer suddenly came down off the wall, I could have been seriously injured.This place is not ready for staying ,I won't recommend to anyone

All in all a nice hotel. Mid summer when temps are well over 100, we ended up changing rooms 3 times because of faulty air conditioning. The hotel staff seemed a tad unorganized as to what rooms had good working AC.
Beyond that mishap, the hotel was clean. The pool area was small and subpar for our purposes. Since we are in Mesa often, we will try another IHG next time.

Cleans rooms, great customer service. The only complaint is that the rooms have only one lamp, one wall night light, and the desk lamp was worthless. It made the rooms very dim.
