Monarch dental is without a doubt the worst company that I have ever paid for a service from. They are truly appalling. After years of talking to various dentists and orthodontists about straightening my teeth, I was finally in a financial position to move forward with treatment and mistakenly started the process with them.

Every professional, including the ones at monarch dental, quoted me 6 to 7 months to straighten my teeth. After about a week of wearing the first tray I reached out to the team because they seemed to be slightly too big as I could wiggle the trays back and forth on my teeth. After coming in to see the orthodontist, she told me it wasn’t a concern and, wouldn’t have a negative impact. Unsurprisingly, these trays did not complete the job and ultimately I was given a full 20 additional refinement trays. Making what was meant to be roughly 6 months of treatment now 13.5 months of treatment. The orthodontist never knows what’s going on with my case and is always contradicting herself when I come in. I do believe the refinement trays fit me correctly, but that only serves to validate my initial concern about the first set being too lose as I now know what they are suppose to feel like.

To top off all the inaccurate stuff the Orthodontist has said and done, the whole team has the worst communication I’ve ever seen. Whenever I have a question I have to follow up at least once (if not twice) to get a response. I should have taken the hint when I had to go into the office just to find out if my original trays had arrived because after about a week and a half of calling, no one ever returned my messages. At that point, they'd had my trays for a few weeks. They also just forgot to place the order for my first set of refinement trays. Four weeks after the appointment where they scanned me for the trays and were meant to place the order I received a call letting me know that no one actually placed the order and that it was going to be delayed for another 6 weeks.

These are just the highlights of their mistakes, as I don’t have the space to type them all out. Also to Charlotte is trash and bad at her job. A few months ago I reached out to her after seeing her email on all of the negative reviews and she did little to nothing to help me. In fact, she just forwarded my complaint to the people I was complaining about and then refused to respond to me because “she’d done her job”. I had to essentially beg for a response because she wouldn’t even acknowledge me telling her no one from the Ortho team had reached out to me.

Since the new manager took over, the service has been terrible. They scheduled a cleaning appointment for me and my son a month in advance, but when we arrived, they simply told us they didn’t have staff available to do the cleaning. The manager didn’t offer any further explanation. Unfortunately, I’m stuck with this office for my son’s braces, but I’ll definitely be making the rest of my dental appointments elsewhere. Personal recommendation: don’t come to this office!

Major overhaul of the office! All are new but nice. Some policies (and prices) have changed slightly. The temp hygienist they have employed, Tikka, - was fabulous, informative, helpful and very thorough! 5⭐️ Haven’t seen the new dentist yet hence the 4 score.

I always have a wonderful experience at Monarch Dental in Carrollton. The staff is always very courteous and informative. My hygienist, Teca did a very good & thorough job, was very courteous and informative as well.

This dental place was in-network HMO for my dental insurance Guardian, so made it my primary and headed over for initial evaluation (annual assessment) & basic scaling.

Before proceeding anything, I asked for an estimate of what I will pay. They charged me $107 out-of-pocket. Then they charged my insurance total: $1700. Absolutely Ridiculous.

This place will literally max our your insurance and rip you off.
After getting an estimate, I was in shock and left.
Thank goodness, I asked for an estimate prior to any procedures.

Don't come here, they will literally overcharge 50x what is the normal range.

My dental hygienist, was very professional. She did an excellent job on my teeth. I would highly recommend her. She is very thorough and takes her time to ensure your teeth are clean. In my book she’s the best.
