I have been a nurse at Shea Post Acute for over 7 years. So many great changes here and always continuing to improve. I believe we have some of the best nurses and CNAs, so smart and caring. Our therapy team is one of the best in the valley! The residents here are our family and we truly do love and care about them. Five star Quality Measures. I love Shea and my Shea family!

I was at Shea Post Cute for 2 weeks after open heart surgery. The staff was over and above other facilities I had stayed at. The place is clean, clean, clean. Physical therapy was tailored to my needs, and I was able to have a shower on a regular basis or as requested.
I did make my thoughts known about the food, and they said..they are workig on it. Most was adequate.

My mother Dixie fractured her hip and needed to go to a rehab facility. We chose Shea post acute and couldn’t be more satisfied. The staff was very attentive and caring. The facility was clean and my mother say’s the food was excellent. My Mom loved the experience, and that’s saying something. After all, nobody wants to go to rehab, they want to go home!
Thank you Shea Post Acute

The most incompetent rehab place to go to. Food is disgusting and the place is filthy, I got the worst head cold when there and I wash my hands regularly! To make matters worse you have to share a room with a stranger who will most likely snore like a bear, like mine did. I was originally told they have private rooms. Nope. Hard pass if you want a quality place to recover after surgery.
When I got discharged and tried to call to speak to staff and the Director/GM they either don't answer or when they do extensions you get sent to by operator just ring and ring or you get a voicejail "greeting" and they never call back.
Total scam of a business!!! 5 star reviews are fake!!
Avoid at all costs!!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!! there is a major disconnect between the marketing and sales teams and the actual care teams. The marketing and sales teams make promises and statements which are not in alignment with the actual care that is provided. When facing a situation to place our mother who had just had a massive stroke, we were reliant upon the information we were given when we made the decision to place my mother in this facility. On the bright side, the physical therapist and occupational therapist are outstanding however, the overall care which my mother received was not in alignment with what we expected, based on our initial conversations with the sales and marketing teams

The wound care team is tops! They really care and have done amazing work on me. The physical therapy team is outstanding! They are the hardest working, caring and will do anything to help you reach your goals and beyond. I am very happy with what I have achieved so far with everyone's help and motivation.

This post is difficult to write. We went to this facility with the best of hope that they would help my Mom. We were welcomed into the location which, once passed the front desk, is dark, dingy, smelly and generally old looking. My Mom had been diagnosed and sent here to gain strength. The staff was generally uncaring, rushed, rude and otherwise not around.

We were here for a week of hell. Staff did not care about patients or their care. Techs were horrible to patients, getting mad at them, making you feel (and to some patients openly saying) you were a burden. My Mom's roommate was, I admit, extremely demanding, but still deserved respect. These people would speak to her like trash. A technician told her she "had wiped her own @ss all her life, why can't you do it now?" They routinely made patients wait upwards of 40 minutes to be tended to when you turned the help light on. In fact, when I went to get my Mom's things there, they had disconnected the call light for her roommate. The way they treat patients is appalling. I made a complaint by phone, twice, and in person. I never was called about it, nor had any communication about what I saw. This should tell you everything you need to know about the level of care and concern your loved one will receive here.

I will say, not every person here is like this. There were about 4 staff members who truly cared about the patients here. THEY are the only reason this place gets a star. They worked hard, and cared. Problem is, 4 people for a facility this size is abysmal and so unfortunate.

If you're given a choice of where to send your loved one and you want them to thrive and not feel scared or worried they won't survive their care, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. Our experience is not a one off. If you don't want to take my word for it, just go see it before your choice is made.
