It was my first time here. I was celebrating my birthday with my family.
The service was great. We were seated quickly. The table was a little dirty. The floors were sticky. HOWEVER, that was overshadowed by the service and the food. We really enjoyed ourselves. They even refrigerated my cake that was snuck in by my family. Stick Talk, you are awesome!
P.S. The music is for the younger patrons, IMO. JS.

Food was delicious! You get a lot of food for price. Our server K'Aliyha was very attentive. Brought was a to go box without us having to even ask. Would definitely go back. Only issue was the parking. Got lucky and found a spot in front of building otherwise parking is across the street but even then it’s no biggie.

I came in about 10:30pm there wasn’t a lot of customers but a lot of Togo orders! So seemed at first this place would be really good! I sat down ordered my drink and appetizer. The server brought out the egg rolls 5-10 mins later. They were super good and hot! But my entree took 25 mins-30 mins. I was very disappointed. The steak isn’t that juicy but has a little flavor, veggies are so dried had to keep drinking water, and the noodles weren’t all that….. I also got the yum yum sauce and the spicy garlic butter. Yum yum sauce comes out so cold I didn’t like that and the spicy garlic butter just tastes like the butter they put on popcorn at the movies. Maybe the time and day had something to do with the food not being top tier for this area. But if someone paying $30 for an entree at least my it enjoyable. The server was super sweet. She tried her best to run the front by herself!

First let me say Anari did her thing. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and recommended a really good drink to me. She was very sweet and welcoming as well. My only critique is how little noodles they give you. For the price I’d expect more. Other than that the food was really tasty.

Food was ok at best. OVERPRICED!!! I ordered delivery by the restaurant's "preferred" delivery service... cost me an extra $13 with delivery fee and tip only for some of my extra items that I paid for to be missing. $52 for this meal. My lil daquiri was a JOKE for $11. You can see how small it is next to an 8oz air freshner. An extra $1.20 plus tax for each 2oz sauce that I never received. Ordered 5 sauces and got 2.

Tried to call, cant get anyone. How can I get a refund on my sauce AND the delivery fee since I had to drive back up there to get sauce

Looking for something good to eat that wasn’t too pricey but still provided a great experience, my brother and I decided to explore Houston’s food scene. Since he’s a big fan of hibachi, we came across a place called “Stick Talk” during our search. The name intrigued me, so I did a bit more research. The reviews were all over the place—some people loved it, while others weren’t as impressed—but I’m an optimist, so we decided to give it a try. I’m glad we did!

First off, it’s important to know this isn’t a fancy sit-down restaurant. “Stick Talk” is a takeout hibachi spot, which I’m not saying to take away from the experience—just something to keep in mind when you go. Now for the good stuff: the vibe. The music was on point, the staff was coordinated and friendly, and the food? Delicious. They offer your standard hibachi options, but the quality definitely stands out.

I ordered the Yacht Club combo, which came with salmon, shrimp, and crawfish. I opted for the regular portion (instead of large) and was very pleased with the serving size. I also got sweet heat and yum yum sauce on the side, both of which added great flavor. My brother went for the honey garlic wings with rice and hibachi chicken with noodles. He loved both dishes and mentioned that the spicy yum yum and teriyaki sauces really elevated his meal. He’s already decided this spot is going on his regular rotation.

All in all, “Stick Talk” was a win for us. If you’re in the mood for tasty, no-fuss hibachi in Houston, it’s definitely worth a try!

We were a little nervous considering the reviews, but I’m glad we tried it out. Food was great, sweet heat sauce was great, and service was great. We waited maybe 15 minutes for our food, and that’s cause they were pretty busy. We aren’t from the area but will definitely return! I wish I got our waitresses name, she was super sweet.

Stick Talk masterfully blends the bold flavors of Asian and Cajun cuisine, creating a seafood fusion experience you won’t forget. Their seafood egg rolls are absolutely the bomb—crispy, golden-fried, and filled with a delicious mix of fresh seafood and savory spices. The crawfish dirty rice is an insane Cajun-inspired dish that’s packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with tender crawfish. And the shrimp garlic noodles? To die for—tossed in a rich, garlicky sauce that brings out the best in both Asian and Cajun flavors.

Whatever you do, don’t forget to wash it all down with one of their refreshing flavored lemonades. Stick Talk is where seafood meets the best of Asian and Cajun fusion, offering a meal that’s nothing short of unforgettable!

Their playlist is pretty fire as well.
