Came in due to pneumonia and the staff and everyone has been so nice and accommodating to me. I truly feel like I’m in good hands especially as a young Muslim women who never usually has to go to the hospital. They were quick and attentive given I came into the ER gasping for air and they treated me right away. Everyone has been so nice and explains everything to me in a way that I can understand. They even were very nice to my daughter and my husband when they come to visit me. If I ever have issues again while I’m living near Arlington I will definitely be back.

So I moved to Texas in 2020 and 12/23/24 was my 1st time ever needing any medical attention.

I went to Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital after work about 8:30pm. I had bruised painful swelling on my calf and ankle.

I went to ER got blood drawn, x ray, and some radiology. Once I got completely registered I saw the Doctor.

All the testing came back fine except my blood work. Doctor stated my hemoglobin level was at a 4 and stated I would need an immediate blood transfusion.

Got the blood transfusion and it went smoothly. Thank you Jesus! I definitely wanna say I had a wonderful experience with each person I encountered.

From registration, to everyone that ran test on me, the nurse that drew my blood, the nurse who cared for me etc, and the nurse that brought warm blankets etc.

Of course the doctors and even security when I was discharged 12/24/24 at 6:32am.
Shout out to the entire staff that worked during my stay, while attending to other patients.

Thank you all so much for making my 1st time ever needing medical attention in Texas such a professional, caring, memorable experience. #GREATHOSPITALITY

As a first time mom that had to be induced, I was so nervous not knowing what would happen or what I could expect. I want to say thank you to all the nurses that were involved in my care and made my delivery a great experience! On the labor and delivery side Tori, Lisa, and Elizabeth were absolutely wonderful and explained every thing that would be happening along the way. They made me feel extremely comfortable and truly went above and beyond. On the mother & baby side Michelle and Geneva were excellent as well and truly took the time to check in on us and answered all of our questions! I’m really appreciative and can’t thank them enough for making this experience as seamless as possible! As a THR employee, it make me proud to witness our values in action!

Don’t waste your time or money for anyone that is referred for metal health. This is the first review of any kind I ever done. Was referred from my family doc that had no problem prescribing me my meds that worked untill now. Never talked to a real mental Heath professional/doc to restart my meds that I desperately need right now that I’ve taken for 15 years. Just a arrogant nurse practitioner that pushed worthless same old cough meds/ssri ‘s and claimed that the meds I’ve taken for many years have awful side affects after talking to me for 3 minutes. This is the Worst mistake of my life voluntarily trying something new and getting off regiment that actually worked. Been is ER twice/one hospitalization overnight due to serotonin syndrome that almost killed me. Tried almost every awful ssri and antihistamine there is at least 20 of em and the 2 that worked now have a stigma associated with them. Aka what Ned school and the govt labels a narcotic and not long term option. The same govt and medical community that pushed this COVID bs on us. Starting to think mental health professionals are all a joke. I wish the best for anyone in the same boat that can’t get the Meds we desperately need now due to stigma associated with certain meds to live a normal life and pray that god will guide you to peace and pursuit of happiness. I’m a 41 year old dad of 2 and never abused a drug in my life. Hope anyone that reads this has better luck and finds the rare doc that is worth a crap for us that have minds we cannot shut off and live in agony 24 hrs a day Pretty close to giving up on these so called mental health professionals.

The nurses we had gave our grandmother excellent service. We did have an issue with a young lady sitting at the nurses station making comments about how a patient "didn't even" look sick. People have to understand that looks can be deceiving and you can't judge someone solely off of how they look. You'd think as a Licensed professional, that she wouldn't be ignorant enough to think or project it out with such an insensitive tone. Her shift was over soon after and we were so grateful for that. We all made sure to ask questions about medicines etc and had at least one relative sitting with our loved one throughout her entire stay. It's unfortunate that everyone in the Healthcare industry isn't in it to actually serve and show empathy or compassion. But we have much respect for those of you who do genuinely have a heart to be of service!

I was in the ER of Texas Health last year for a back injury. Since it was an immensely painful injury, I called the paramedics and requested them to take me to Texas Health since it is a non profit hospital.

Upon arrival, the doctor saw me after hours of lying in pain. Me and my friend were asking the nurse for water and attention since I was in such immense pain but they didn’t bother. Whenever the nurse visited, she said the doctor will come soon and pumped more and more morphine into my system just to push the hospital bill higher and higher.

During my CT Scan, the technician was so unprofessional and didn’t care about the pain I was in. He just sent me back to the ER room and when my friend complained , they called me back after an hour or so. This is just sick.

It is sad to see non profit hospitals working this way and hope something changes. They charged me around $3000 WITH insurance. Without insurance it was much higher to the tune of $6000-$6500

Edit/Update: No phone call was ever made and the people replying to reviews do not take any action. It’s sad that it a medical facility that has been doing this

This was the worst hospital I have ever been in! My water broke and my doctor wasn't notified! They looked over my birthing plan and forced me to have an epidural. As the anesthesiology is putting the needle in my back they came in and told me I had to have a cesarean. Mind you my doctor and I agree on a vbac. ( I dont have any health issues.) I was 5 centimeters dilated as well. I can never forget the doctor that undermined my decision and looked at me like she could care less of my wants and needs. Dr.Kuriakose I wouldn't recommend!!!

I read all the negative comments about the emergency room, however, the l&d dept. is great. Second baby here at this hospital. The nurses are great, very understanding and compassionate. The rooms aren't bad either. Thanks Arlington Memorial l&d.
