Picked this emergency room, ignoring the reviews, and glad I did. Even though I was in the most pain of my life, I had an amazing experience at this hospital. I’ve always hated visiting hospitals so I was already dreading having to go. From the time we entered the security guard was friendly and funny, making us laugh even though I was in so much pain. The lady at intake was sweet and got us registered so quickly. Every person we dealt with after this was in a good mood, sweet and caring. Also, everything went quickly which was so appreciated because I was in severe pain. The nurses Katie and Jeanette were super nice and genuinely cared about my pain and explained everything so well. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Another great thing was my vein was not missed which always worries me! I’m not great with MRIs because of tight spaces and the pain I was in. Christian who was my MRI tech was so calming and made sure I was as comfortable as possible! I would highly recommend to anyone in the Fort Worth Area to go here when having a medical emergency. For being one of the largest hospitals in the country, the service and friendly staff was beyond what I expected. Thanks you guys!!

After reading so many 1 star reviews I was nervous to come here, however, I've been here several days now and every single DR and nurse, from ER, observation floor and H3rd floor has been absolutely wonderful. They have listened to me, ran every test necessary, and are doing everything they can to keep me pain free, comfortable and find answers. I really appreciate everyone who's been taking care of me. If you're needing a hospital, in my opinion this is the one to come to.

I had to come here for my delivery of my son on the 29th of August this year. I was there for about 5 days and every one of the doctors anesthesiologist were amazing! The hiring team should be proud of the nurses they have picked for the mother baby recovery floor. If I have another baby in the future I will make sure that I come here especially. Thank you for helping bring my son into my world.

I came in for a head injury. I was sat down for hours before getting a cat scan
After receiving a cat scan 3 hours later I was informed my brain was bleeding. I was told I would stay for an additional 6 hours to ensure no more issues would come up. Through 6 hours I was not checked on or monitor for more than half of my stay. Thank God I didn't have any seizures or additional bleeding be cause even when I requested for assistance no assistance was given to me for 2 or more hours. Not to mention I wasn't even informed I had a brain bleed till have way through my stay.
Luckily it was me and not my son or wife was in the hospital

It apparently varies. My first visit was amazing, I filled out a form praising several staff members who were so caring to me. The second time the doctor was just like, your labs look fine, you’re discharged. I had come by ambulance and they told me to take the bus home alone in downtown Fort Worth at 11:30PM. Two vastly different experiences. It depends on the doctors and nurses you get assigned, luck of the draw.
P.S. if someone who cares is reading this, I sat in the ER waiting room listening to the nurses or phlebotomists or whoever sits in those booths drawing blood complaining about patients in very rude and graphic ways, by name, and using foul language, complaining of being short staffed, just in general being embarrassing for your hospital. The ER definitely needs work- my good experience was AFTER admission. ER is a pitiful hot mess.
TLDR; unless you want to wait 4+ hours before you get any care (and you still might not) go somewhere else

I’m so disappointed! They left my 90 year old grandma in horrible condition. No shower or sponge bath for 4 days! Kept rescheduling her nerve block for 4 days! Kept her with high BP and soaking wet for 2 hours. This is after a horrible 15 hour ER stay with no room or attention from the staff as she gasped for air. Be better!!

My name is Erika Parker and I'm currently a patient here in room 723. This message is for my nurse.
Mrs Sara I want to first thank you for taking great care of me and making me feel like I can get thru this. Your such a wonderful, cheerful, good spirited, genuine nurse. I wish all nurses were like you. Your understanding is refreshing. You helped me get thru my sickle cell crisis in a matter of days. Seeing you come on shift made me want to get better. Your appreciated deeply!!! If I ever come back and I get sick again I want u as my nurse or else I'm leaving hahahaha? Thank you so much for all u do honey❤️ Your an angel sent from God.

Took my grandma in to the hospital and we were moved many times from room to room. Busting into the rooms and startling everyone to get all our belongings to go to another room at 3 am. While my grandma was just given colon cleaner and been dizzy and puking. Once we were moved the nurse in charge then took my grandmas close off in the open door in front of other patients and staff while she was dizzy and could not stand. Standing completely naked sick and dizzy to get on a gurney in the hall way. She could have shut the door to undress her since it was 5 sec away. No respect Or privacy! This is unacceptable on many levels!
