AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Extremely unprofessional company, they try to auto renew you without permission even when you tell them explicitly that you do not want to! All you get is a rude response that you should pay your next years invoice. This alone speaks volumes about the quality, value and usefulness of their service.

Platform itself is useless as well, we have taken them onboard to try for a year. Not had any use out of it whatsoever.

I can see that there are a number of other companies they have done this to as well. It really grates me when firms like this try to bully other companies with shady terms and practices. Unlucky for them we have a strong legal background and will not let ourselves be bullied, very happy to see them in court!

The tool itself is ok but there are plenty of other options available on the market. We had a negative customer experience with Vuelio and I would advise reading the contract small print very carefully before you consider signing up. The termination terms and auto-renewal clauses mean I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Speaking as someone who has used Vuelio to pitch and who also has a website where I receive pitches through Vuelio, I really don't recommend it. Contacts often out of date or tagged incorrectly, if you send one press release to multiple lists there's no deduplication so someone who features in more than one list will get the same press release once per list (which is a great way to make your pitch look like spam if you've made say, 5 lists in the past that they fit into) and possibly related to the latter, can confirm as a publisher that Vuelio emails always go to spam.

I have to check my spam box every day to see if a pitch worth reading has gone into the junk folder, and despite manually marking lots of good PRs as "safe" my email provider still puts everything in spam, probably because Vuelio is set up in a way that means anyone using it is mass mailing irrelevant contacts half the time and sending pitches to anyone relevant anywhere from 1-10 times in the space of a minute. Have moved to using roxhill as a database and buzzstream for pitching when sending things myself, and the success rates are much higher.

It's a poor product in my opinion. Ultra low response rates and the odd recipient of a release claiming not to know how they are on their database. Those that do respond to press releases tend to be desperate bloggers looking to make £200 by publishing your release to an audience of their mates and family. Watch out for the subscription 'trap'. Yearly recurring with 90 days notice. They do not budge on missed notice periods at all.

Once they have your mobile number and you’ve declined, later in the year they will randomly starting ringing you every day, sometimes twice a day saying “it doesn’t say on the system you declined”
